For flights between Dubai and Kuala Lumpur, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers have 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg, Business Class passengers have 40kg, and First Class passengers have 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Dubai to Kuala Lumpur once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase paid plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. At Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be invited to The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Dubai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers many ways to spend your layover comfortably, from themed gardens and art installations to quiet rest areas and family-friendly play zones. With a sufficiently long connection, you may also be able to join an official transit tour of Singapore, which usually requires a minimum layover of about 5.5 to 6 hours. For shorter layovers, you can enjoy facilities such as transit hotels, nap areas, and a wide choice of dining and retail options without leaving the terminal. Your time at Singapore (SIN) is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Dubai–Singapore and Singapore–Kuala Lumpur) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
