Beverage Service
Throughout the flight, you can enjoy a selection of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board in all cabins.

For Manila to Medan flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class customers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class customers may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class customers may bring one piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic web browsing. It does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers, so we recommend downloading any large files or media before you travel.

On the Manila–Singapore sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, while Business Class seats convert into fully flat beds with direct aisle access. These features apply on both the Airbus A350-900 and the Boeing 787-10 used on this route.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Manila but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy a wide range of facilities including themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and play zones. For layovers of at least 5.5 hours, you may join an official transit tour of the city, subject to availability and entry requirements.

Shorter layovers can be spent exploring the terminals, where you will find art installations, comfortable seating, and a broad selection of dining options. Airport hotels and rest areas are also available for a quick refresh between flights.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Medan is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
