For flights between Ahmedabad and Shenzhen, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may have access to the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and frequent flyer status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Ahmedabad but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer connection at Singapore Changi Airport, you can consider joining an official transit tour into the city, which typically requires a minimum layover of about 5.5 to 6 hours. These tours let you see key highlights before returning comfortably for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable. Changi Airport offers themed gardens, rest zones, art installations, and, in some terminals, facilities such as swimming pools and cinema-style areas, so you can relax or stretch your legs between flights.
