For flights between Frankfurt and Bengaluru, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite/Value fares: 25kg; Standard/Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and Suites or First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg), and Suites, First Class, and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Frankfurt to Bengaluru once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy and Premium Economy customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both sectors of this route, Economy Class offers a 32-inch seat pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, and Premium Economy Class offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width. Eligible customers may be able to access facilities such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Frankfurt but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If your layover is long enough, you can join one of the official free transit tours of Singapore, which typically require at least 5.5 to 6 hours of connection time. These guided tours let you see key highlights of the city before returning to the airport. For shorter layovers, staying airside at Singapore Changi Airport is very comfortable, with themed gardens, rest zones, quiet seating areas, and a wide range of dining and shopping. Bengaluru follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) year-round. This means Bengaluru is 4.5 hours ahead of Frankfurt in winter, and 3.5 hours ahead during Frankfurt’s summer time.
