Book the Cook

Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is served throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, teas, and coffees. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board.

For Jakarta–Fukuoka flights, our weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi fares: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while First Class and Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Jakarta to Fukuoka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Jakarta to Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, Premium Economy Class (on selected flights) offers a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width, Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, and First Class on selected Boeing 777-300ER services offers a fully flat bed.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be invited to The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge before their onward flight, depending on their cabin and status.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Jakarta but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join one of the official free city tours, which generally require at least around 5.5 to 6 hours of transit time. These tours let you see key highlights without managing your own transport or planning.

For shorter connections, staying airside gives you access to themed gardens, relaxation zones, play areas, and in selected terminals, facilities such as cinemas or swimming pools. There are also plenty of dining options ranging from quick snacks to full meals.

Whichever option you choose, follow the connection guides and monitors for boarding information, and return to your gate with ample time. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Jakarta operates on Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) throughout the year and does not observe daylight saving time. Fukuoka follows Japan Standard Time (UTC+9), also without daylight saving. This means Fukuoka is 2 hours ahead of Jakarta all year round.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Fukuoka Airport when flying from Jakarta via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Jakarta–Singapore and Singapore–Fukuoka) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Fukuoka is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
