For Jakarta–Phuket journeys, the weight concept applies for checked baggage. On flights where Economy Class is available, checked baggage allowances are 25kg for Lite and Value fares, and 30kg for Standard and Flexi. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class on selected Jakarta–Singapore flights 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while First Class and Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights between Jakarta and Phuket once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Jakarta but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive airside facilities that make your layover comfortable and enjoyable, including indoor gardens, rest areas, and family-friendly play zones. For longer layovers of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider joining an official transit tour into the city, subject to eligibility and timing.

Shorter connections are well spent exploring the terminals, where you will find walking trails through themed gardens, entertainment zones, and quiet spaces to relax or work. Showers, transit hotels, and a wide range of dining outlets help you arrive in Phuket feeling refreshed.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Phuket is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
