For Medan–Hyderabad flights via Singapore, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Medan to Hyderabad once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Medan but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive facilities to make your layover comfortable and engaging. For longer connections of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider joining an official transit tour into the city, subject to your immigration eligibility and tour availability.
