For flights between Ahmedabad and Osaka, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi: 30kg) and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is confirmed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Ahmedabad to Osaka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, though Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Ahmedabad but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

In Singapore, eligible passengers may be invited to relax in facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is well known for its transit facilities, and if you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may consider joining one of the official free transit tours into the city, subject to eligibility and schedule. For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and enjoy attractions such as indoor gardens, quiet rest areas, and entertainment zones within the terminals. Airport hotels and nap spaces provide additional comfort if you wish to rest between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Ahmedabad follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Osaka follows Japan Standard Time (JST), which is UTC+9:00 and also does not change seasonally. This means Osaka is always 3 hours 30 minutes ahead of Ahmedabad throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:
