For flights between Chennai and Shenzhen, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: in Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, and Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. Business Class includes 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chennai to Shenzhen once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chennai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy a range of airside facilities including themed gardens, quiet rest areas, and extensive shopping and dining. For longer connections of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider joining one of the airport’s free transit tours into the city, subject to eligibility and operating hours. Shorter layovers are well spent exploring the terminals, where you will find art displays, play areas, and comfortable seating zones.
