For flights between Hong Kong and Medan, we use the weight concept for checked baggage. In Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, and Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg, Business Class includes 40kg, and First Class includes 50kg of checked baggage, with each checked bag not exceeding 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on the sectors operated by Wi-Fi-equipped aircraft. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.
