For Zurich to Colombo flights, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg, Business Class includes 40kg, and First Class includes 50kg of checked baggage, with each checked bag not exceeding 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class and First Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Zurich but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be able to use facilities such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join one of the official city transit tours, which generally require a minimum of about 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. These tours let you experience highlights of Singapore without managing your own onward transport.

For shorter layovers, it is easy to stay airside and make use of the airport’s themed gardens, rest areas, and entertainment zones. Depending on your terminal, you may also find facilities such as swimming pools, snooze lounges, and family-friendly play areas.
