For flights between Medan and Kathmandu, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

Cabin baggage: Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is displayed on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Medan to Kathmandu once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive indoor gardens, themed rest areas, play zones, and quiet corners where you can relax between flights. Shorter layovers are well spent exploring these spaces, enjoying the airport's dining options, or freshening up in rest areas and shower facilities.

If you have a longer layover, you may be able to join one of the airport's official transit tours into the city, which typically require a minimum of around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. These guided excursions let you see a snapshot of Singapore before returning in time for your onward boarding.
