A selection of hot and cold drinks is served throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board.

For flights between Surabaya and Kolkata, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: in Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, and Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

Cabin baggage
In Economy Class, you may bring 1 piece of cabin baggage up to 7kg. In Business Class, you may bring 2 pieces of cabin baggage, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines aircraft operating between Surabaya, Singapore, and Kolkata once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure to enjoy this.

For non-members, paid Wi-Fi plans are available on board. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule
Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Surabaya but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join a free official transit tour into the city, typically available for layovers of about 5.5 hours or more, subject to programme timings and eligibility. This allows you to see key sights before returning comfortably to the airport.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, rest areas, playgrounds, and art installations throughout the terminals. You can also enjoy a wide variety of dining options and quiet corners to relax between flights.
