Siti Nur Hawa Binte Erwan, Flight Stewardess

Career & Education History: While pursuing a Diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management at Temasek Polytechnic, Siti joined the SIA Flying Internship Programme, and secured her a role as a Cabin Crew ahead of graduation. The programme also allowed her to fulfil her internship requirements at the same time.

“Drawn to the dynamic nature of flight operations, I joined SIA as an intern in the Operations Control Division. Supporting the department’s flight and fuel initiatives during my stint as an intern deepened my connection to operations. I was thrilled to be offered a full-time role as a Flight Controller, where I truly feel I am in my element, and I am now supporting live flight operations behind the scenes.”
Career & Education History: Manoj joined SIA as an intern and was offered a full-time role upon completion of his Degree in Air Transport Management, from Singapore Institute of Technology.

“I joined SIA as a Singapore Sales Cargo intern, where I supported the team in ensuring that rates and data were maintained accurately. During my internship, I was entrusted with meaningful tasks and initiatives, which gave me valuable exposure to the company’s operational processes. This experience deepened my understanding of the aviation industry, and affirmed my interest in building a career in this field.”
Career & Education History: Kleine joined SIA as a Singapore Sales Cargo intern, where she supported accounts-related work and contributed to day-to-day operations. She is now a Risk Management Associate at SIA. A graduate from Singapore Polytechnic with a Diploma in Accounting, she also plans to further her studies in Finance.

“My journey with SIA began in the skies as a Flight Stewardess. I went on to further my studies and during then, I did an internship with the HR Talent Acquisition & Staffing Team. Career & Education History: After 3 years as a Cabin Crew, Lin Hui pursued her Degree in Air Transport Management at the Singapore Institute of Technology. During her studies, she interned with SIA’s Talent Acquisition & Staffing team. She now continues her journey with SIA as a Customer Contact Manager.
