For flights between Barcelona and Jakarta, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class guests may bring 35kg, and Business Class and First Class guests may bring 40kg and 50kg respectively. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines services on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi, with Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members asked to add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Barcelona but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may be invited to The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

If you have enough time between flights, Singapore Changi Airport offers an official transit tour programme for longer layovers, generally requiring a layover of at least around 5.5 to 6 hours to join a city tour. This can be a relaxing way to see highlights of Singapore without managing your own arrangements.

For shorter layovers, staying airside at Singapore Changi Airport is very comfortable, with indoor gardens, rest zones, quiet areas, and even facilities such as swimming pools or cinemas in certain terminals. There are also many dining outlets and shops where you can stretch your legs and refresh.
