A selection of hot and cold drinks, juices, and alcoholic beverages is available on board, and you can also enjoy our signature Singapore Sling during your flight.

For flights between Chengdu and Kochi, the weight concept applies to checked baggage. In Economy Class, Lite and Value fares include 25kg, while Standard and Flexi fares include 30kg. Business Class includes 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chengdu to Kochi once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans.

The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Chengdu–Singapore and Singapore–Kochi sectors in Economy Class, you can expect a seat pitch of about 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width, providing comfortable legroom for the journey.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chengdu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy landscaped gardens, art installations, and quiet seating areas spread across the terminals. Depending on your time, you may explore attractions such as indoor greenery, viewing decks, and rest zones ideal for a short break.

If your layover is at least 5.5 to 6 hours and timing permits, you can consider joining one of the airport’s guided city tours, which allow eligible transit passengers to see highlights of Singapore before returning airside.

Chengdu follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) all year round, without daylight saving time. Kochi follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30), also without daylight saving. This means Kochi is 2 hours 30 minutes behind Chengdu throughout the year.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Cochin International Airport when flying from Chengdu via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Chengdu–Singapore and Singapore–Kochi) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Kochi is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
