For flights between Chennai and Cebu, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. Checked baggage for Economy Class is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chennai to Cebu once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chennai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer connection at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join the official city tour programmes, which typically require at least around 5.5 to 6 hours of layover time between flights. These tours let you experience highlights of Singapore without managing logistics yourself.

For shorter layovers, it is best to stay airside and explore the airport’s facilities. Depending on your terminal, you can enjoy indoor gardens, quiet rest zones, snooze areas, and play spaces, or simply take a walk through the public art and themed zones.

If you prefer to rest, consider an airport hotel or designated relaxation areas, where you can freshen up before your onward flight to Cebu. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Chennai follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Cebu follows Philippine Time (PHT), which is UTC+8:00 and also does not observe daylight saving time. Cebu is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Chennai all year round.
