For flights between Jakarta and Osaka, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg for Lite/Value fares, 30kg for Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece, up to 7kg), and Business Class and First Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). The final allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Jakarta to Osaka once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Jakarta to Singapore sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, Premium Economy Class (on selected flights) offers about 38 inches of pitch with up to 20 inches of width, Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access, and First Class on the Boeing 777-300ER offers a spacious fully flat bed. At Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK), eligible Singapore Airlines customers may be invited to use partner facilities such as Plaza Premium Lounge and Garuda Executive Lounge, depending on their class of travel or frequent flyer status. Lounge access is confirmed at check-in according to your booking and eligibility.

During your layover at Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers may relax in facilities such as The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin class and membership status. Jakarta follows Western Indonesia Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. Osaka follows Japan Standard Time (UTC+9), also without daylight saving time. This means Osaka is always 2 hours ahead of Jakarta throughout the year.

Most international flights from Singapore to Osaka arrive at Kansai International Airport, located on an artificial island connected to the mainland by rail and road. On arrival, follow signs for immigration, baggage claim, and onward transport options such as trains, buses, or airport transfer services.

We recommend arriving at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure to Singapore. This allows enough time for check-in, security, and immigration before boarding your first sector to Singapore and connecting onward to Osaka.
