For flights between Mumbai and Zurich, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and Suites or First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not weigh more than 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Suites, First Class, and Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Mumbai to Zurich once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, with Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers needing to add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Mumbai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have enough time between your Mumbai and Zurich flights, Singapore Changi Airport offers an official transit tour for longer layovers, typically requiring at least about 5.5 to 6 hours of connection time. This lets you see highlights of the city before returning to the airport. For shorter layovers, you can stay airside and enjoy themed gardens, quiet rest areas, art displays, and, in selected terminals, facilities such as a swimming pool or cinema-style entertainment spaces.
