For flights between Rome and Yangon, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (Lite and Value fares: 25kg; Standard and Flexi: 30kg), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Rome to Yangon once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Rome but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can take advantage of landscaped gardens, rest areas, and a wide selection of dining and shopping options within the terminals. For longer layovers of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may be able to join an official transit tour of the city, subject to operating hours and eligibility. For shorter connections, consider enjoying quiet seating zones, children’s play areas, or spa facilities. Yangon operates on Myanmar Time (UTC+6:30) all year and does not observe daylight saving. This means Yangon is 5.5 hours ahead of Rome in winter, and 4.5 hours ahead during Rome’s summer time.
