For flights between Frankfurt and Kuala Lumpur, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg for Lite/Value fares; 30kg for Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and First Class or Suites (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Suites, First Class, and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Frankfurt to Kuala Lumpur once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Frankfurt–Singapore sector in Economy Class, you can expect a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of seat width, while Premium Economy Class offers around 38 inches of pitch and up to 20 inches of width. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Frankfurt but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive amenities, so shorter layovers can be comfortably spent airside enjoying gardens, rest areas, and shower facilities. For longer layovers of at least around 5.5 to 6 hours, you may consider joining one of the official transit tours into the city, subject to availability and entry requirements. If you prefer to stay in the terminal, you can relax in quiet zones, explore art installations, or book an airport hotel room for extra rest.
