For flights between Taipei and Istanbul, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class customers enjoy 35kg, and Business Class customers enjoy 40kg of checked baggage. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Taipei to Istanbul once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Taipei but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent joining an official transit tour of the city if you meet the minimum connection time, typically around 5.5 to 6 hours. This allows you to see key highlights before returning comfortably for your onward flight. For shorter layovers, staying airside is very relaxing, with themed gardens, rest areas, entertainment zones, and quiet corners throughout the terminals.
