For flights between Busan and Colombo, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage: Economy Class guests may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class guests may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage: Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance shown on your e-ticket is the most accurate, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Boeing 737-8 MAX from Busan to Singapore and the Airbus A350-900 from Singapore to Colombo, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches and up to 19 inches of seat width. Business Class provides a fully flat bed with generous personal space and direct aisle access on the Airbus A350-900, and a spacious reclining seat on the Boeing 737-8 MAX designed for work or rest.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Busan but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore, eligible customers may be invited to use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

If you have a longer connection at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join the free official city tours, which typically require a layover of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, leaving enough time for immigration and boarding. These tours offer a brief introduction to Singapore’s highlights before you continue your journey.

For shorter layovers, it is best to stay airside and enjoy the airport’s many amenities, including themed gardens, art installations, rest zones, and even indoor attractions such as play areas and quiet corners. Airport hotels and lounges provide additional comfort if you prefer a shower or a nap between flights.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Busan–Singapore and Singapore–Colombo) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Colombo is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
