For Chongqing–Cairns flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg) and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chongqing to Cairns once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Chongqing but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

In Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers can enjoy the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and membership status.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join one of the official free transit tours, which typically require at least around 5.5 to 6 hours of available time between flights. For shorter layovers, staying airside allows you to enjoy Changi Airport’s gardens, quiet rest areas, children’s play zones, and a wide range of dining and shopping. Some terminals also offer showers, nap zones, and other facilities that help you refresh between flights.
