For flights between Dubai and Zurich, our weight-concept baggage rules apply. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi. Premium Economy Class includes 35kg, Business Class 40kg, and First Class 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class and First Class may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members receive additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Dubai to Zurich once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Dubai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

For longer connections, you can explore attractions such as indoor waterfalls, walking trails, and curated art installations within the terminals. If you have sufficient time between flights, you may also consider joining an official transit tour to see highlights of the city outside the airport, subject to eligibility and minimum layover time requirements. Zurich follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in roughly late October to late March, and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) from late March to late October. This means Zurich is usually 3 hours behind Dubai in winter and 2 hours behind in summer.

For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Dubai–Singapore and Singapore–Zurich) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Zurich is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
