Why visit Maldives?

Maldives is a chain of coral islands in the Indian Ocean known for clear lagoons, white-sand beaches, and overwater villas. You can enjoy relaxed island life, vibrant marine life, and warm tropical weather all year.

What to expect

Most visitors stay on resort islands or local islands close to Male, the compact capital. Expect days shaped around the sea, with snorkelling, diving, sunset cruises, and sandbank visits setting the pace of your stay.

Plan your trip

You will usually arrive in Male, then transfer by speedboat or seaplane to your island. Maldives is ideal for honeymoons, family escapes, and diving trips, and also pairs easily with a city stop in Singapore on the way.
