For Istanbul–Mumbai flights, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Istanbul–Singapore–Mumbai flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their KrisFlyer number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Istanbul but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can consider joining the official city sightseeing tour, which usually requires several hours of transit time to be eligible. This allows you to see some of Singapore’s highlights before returning for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, quiet rest zones, and relaxation areas located across the terminals. You can also explore art installations, entertainment zones, and a wide choice of dining options while you wait.

If you prefer extra rest, airport hotels and nap facilities within or near the terminals can provide a few hours of sleep or a refreshing shower between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.
