For flights between Manila and Kuala Lumpur, our weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Manila to Kuala Lumpur once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. Wi-Fi is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase paid plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Manila to Singapore and Singapore to Kuala Lumpur sectors, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of about 32 inches with up to 19 inches of width, providing a comfortable amount of legroom for regional flights. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The Next Segment Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Manila but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be invited to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge before their connecting flight.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can make use of extensive airside facilities including themed gardens, rest areas, and entertainment zones. For shorter connections, staying within the terminal gives you easy access to dining, shopping, and quiet corners to relax.

If you have a longer layover of around 5.5 hours or more, you may be able to join an official transit tour of Singapore, subject to the airports current programmes and your eligibility. This lets you see highlights of the city before returning in time for your onward flight.

Alternatively, you can unwind at an airport hotel, visit spa facilities, or simply explore different terminals connected by the Skytrain system. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.
