For flights between Hyderabad and Shenzhen, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers have an allowance of 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers have an allowance of 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on this route. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Hyderabad to Singapore and Singapore to Shenzhen sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, providing good comfort for the journey. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Hyderabad but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can consider joining one of the official transit tours into the city, which typically require at least a 5.5 to 6-hour connection to join comfortably. These tours offer a short introduction to Singapore's skyline, neighbourhoods, and waterfront.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, rest areas, and entertainment zones spread across the terminals. You can stretch your legs, enjoy art installations, or simply find a quiet corner to relax between flights.

If you prefer extra privacy, you may book an airport hotel or use rest areas and snooze zones to recharge. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Hyderabad follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Shenzhen follows China Standard Time (CST), which is UTC+8 and also does not observe daylight saving time. Shenzhen is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Hyderabad throughout the year.
