For Adelaide to Hangzhou flights, our weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members are entitled to additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Adelaide to Hangzhou once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure to enjoy this benefit.

Non-members can choose from paid Wi-Fi plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers, so we recommend planning any heavy online activity for before or after your flight.

On both the Adelaide–Singapore and Singapore–Hangzhou sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, providing comfortable legroom and space to relax. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible customers may be able to access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Adelaide but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers an official free city transit tour for eligible passengers with sufficient connection time, typically requiring at least a 5.5–6 hour layover. If your timings align, this is a comfortable way to get a glimpse of the city between flights.

For shorter layovers, staying airside gives you access to themed gardens, art installations, quiet rest areas, and, in some terminals, facilities such as a swimming pool or cinema. There are also plenty of dining options and shower facilities to help you refresh.

If you prefer extra privacy, consider booking an airport hotel room or a nap space located within or near the terminals. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Adelaide operates on Australian Central Standard Time (UTC+9:30) and observes Australian Central Daylight Time (UTC+10:30) roughly from early October to early April. Hangzhou follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) all year and does not observe daylight saving. Adelaide is therefore 1.5 hours ahead of Hangzhou during standard time, and 2.5 hours ahead during daylight saving time.
