For flights between Seattle and Chennai, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. In Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Premium Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Business Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

The Next Segment Rule
Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Seattle but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you can consider joining one of the official transit tours from Singapore Changi Airport, which gives you a glimpse of the city without managing your own logistics. For shorter layovers, stay airside and explore the airport’s gardens, rest areas, and other facilities.
