For flights between Hyderabad and Medan, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class guests may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, or 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class guests may check up to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines aircraft used between Hyderabad and Medan once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. When you fly from Hyderabad to Medan on a single Singapore Airlines itinerary via Singapore, we normally check your checked baggage through to Medan. You will receive baggage tags with the final destination printed, and you can confirm this at check-in or at the transfer desk during your layover.

Hyderabad follows India Standard Time (IST), which is UTC+5:30 and does not observe daylight saving time. Medan follows Western Indonesia Time (WIB), which is UTC+7:00, also without daylight saving. Medan is therefore 1 hour 30 minutes ahead of Hyderabad throughout the year.

From Hyderabad, you will depart from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport. Your connecting flight operates via Singapore Changi Airport, and you will arrive at Kualanamu International Airport, which serves Medan and the surrounding region.

We recommend arriving at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport at least 3 hours before your scheduled departure time for flights to Medan via Singapore. This allows enough time for check-in, security checks, and immigration formalities before boarding.
