For flights between Kuala Lumpur and Kochi, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers are entitled to 35kg, and Business Class passengers to 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines aircraft operating between Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, and Kochi once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, with Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members required to add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase convenient Wi-Fi plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, subject to operational availability.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kuala Lumpur but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join an official transit tour into the city, subject to eligibility and minimum connection times, which typically start from around 5.5 to 6 hours. This lets you see highlights of Singapore before returning for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, rest areas, a free cinema in selected terminals, and children’s play zones. You can also refresh with showers, nap zones, and a wide choice of dining options close to your gate.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:
