Beverage Service
Throughout the flight, you can enjoy a range of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. A selection of alcoholic beverages is also available, and our signature Singapore Sling is offered on board across cabins, subject to flight sector and local regulations.

For flights between Adelaide and Xiamen, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class members must ensure their membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans on board.

The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic web browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers. Coverage and performance may vary slightly between the Boeing 787-10 and Boeing 737-8 MAX sectors.

On both the Adelaide–Singapore Boeing 787-10 sector and the Singapore–Xiamen Boeing 737-8 MAX sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, providing comfortable legroom for the journey.

Business Class on both sectors features seats that convert into fully flat beds, with generous space and direct aisle access on the Boeing 787-10, and a spacious recliner or lie-flat style arrangement on the Boeing 737-8 MAX depending on configuration. Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be able to access facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Adelaide but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a wide range of facilities that make layovers comfortable and engaging. For shorter connections, you can explore themed gardens, rest areas, children’s play zones, and a variety of dining and shopping options within the terminals.

For longer layovers of about 5.5 hours or more, you can consider joining the airport’s official free transit tour, subject to eligibility and schedule, to see highlights of Singapore before returning airside. Alternatively, transit hotels and snooze areas in the terminals provide spaces to rest between flights.

Xiamen follows China Standard Time (UTC+8) year-round. During Adelaide’s standard time, Adelaide is 1.5 hours ahead of Xiamen; during daylight saving, it is 2.5 hours ahead.
