Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is served throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, and hot beverages. Our signature Singapore Sling is available on board, alongside a curated choice of wines and other beverages.

For flights between Brisbane and Colombo, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Brisbane to Colombo once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class passengers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Brisbane but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers may use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy extensive gardens, walking trails, art installations, and quiet rest areas directly in the terminals. For shorter connections, you may prefer to stay airside, explore the themed zones, and relax in dedicated seating or nap areas.

For longer layovers of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider joining the airport’s official transit tour programmes, which allow eligible passengers to see highlights of Singapore without managing logistics on their own. Facilities such as playgrounds, TV lounges, and shower options also help you refresh between flights.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Colombo is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
