For flights between Guangzhou and Yangon, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are as follows: Economy Class passengers may check 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class passengers may check 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg in weight.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final baggage allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, with Economy Class members required to add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members, and the service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

For shorter connections, you can stay airside and enjoy walking trails, quiet corners, or a meal at one of many cafés and restaurants.

For longer layovers of around 5.5 hours or more, you may be able to join an official transit tour into the city, subject to your nationality, entry requirements, and tour availability. This offers a chance to see some of Singapore’s highlights before returning to the airport for your onward flight.
