For flights between Manchester and Guangzhou, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg for Lite and Value fares, 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Manchester but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be able to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, subject to access rules.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be used to join the official free transit tour into the city, available if you meet the minimum layover time, usually around 5.5–6 hours. This gives you a brief introduction to Singapore before returning comfortably for your onward flight.
