Book the Cook
Eligible passengers in Business Class on selected sectors can pre-order from our Book the Cook service, choosing from a wider menu that is prepared specially for your flight. Availability depends on your departure city and route.

Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is served throughout your journey, including juices, soft drinks, tea, and coffee. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, allowing you to enjoy a classic taste of Singapore during your flight.

For flights between Manila and Seoul, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class guests may bring 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class guests may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights between Manila and Seoul once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free, unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure.

Non-members can choose from paid Wi-Fi plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Manila–Singapore and Singapore–Seoul sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width, providing comfortable legroom for the journey. Business Class features fully flat beds with direct aisle access at every seat.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available. Eligible customers may be invited to lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, subject to operating hours and capacity.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Manila but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive airside attractions, including indoor gardens, movie zones, rest areas, and children’s play spaces, so shorter layovers are comfortably spent within the terminal. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you may consider joining one of the official free transit tours into the city, subject to eligibility and timing.

For longer connections, you can explore different terminals, relax in a lounge, or freshen up at airport rest facilities without leaving the secure area. Clear signage and efficient security checks help you move easily between gates.

Manila follows Philippine Time (UTC+8), while Seoul follows Korea Standard Time (UTC+9). Seoul is 1 hour ahead of Manila throughout the year, as neither city observes daylight saving time. When it is 12.00pm in Manila, it is 1.00pm in Seoul.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Seoul when flying from Manila via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Manila–Singapore and Singapore–Seoul) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Seoul is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.

You may be able to plan a stopover in Singapore on your Manila–Seoul trip, subject to your ticket conditions and availability.
