Peak season typically runs from December to February (peak season), when many visitors arrive and average temperatures hover around 27–30°C (81–86°F) with relatively drier conditions in parts of the west coast. March to May and September to early November often form the shoulder months (shoulder season), with similar temperatures of about 27–31°C (81–88°F) and a mix of sunshine and short showers. The mid-year period from June to August, and some parts of the monsoon months on the east coast from November to January, can be considered quieter in certain regions (low season), bringing temperatures around 26–30°C (79–86°F) and heavier rainfall in specific coastal areas.
