For flights between Chengdu and Manila, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, your checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, your checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Chengdu to Manila once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class members must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

For example, if you fly Economy from Chengdu but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Singapore Changi Airport offers a dedicated free transit tour for passengers with a long enough connection, generally requiring at least about 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. This is a convenient way to get a short introduction to the city before returning comfortably to the terminal for your onward flight.

Chengdu operates on China Standard Time, which is UTC+8 and does not observe daylight saving time. Manila also follows Philippine Time at UTC+8, without daylight saving. This means there is no time difference between Chengdu and Manila at any time of the year.
