For flights between Frankfurt and Kochi, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), Business Class (40kg), and Suites or First Class (50kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Suites, First Class, and Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final allowance for your journey is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet on eligible services between Frankfurt, Singapore, and Kochi. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, although Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Frankfurt to Singapore sector, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch with up to 19-inch seat width, and Premium Economy Class seats offer a 38-inch pitch with up to 20-inch seat width. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Frankfurt but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may be invited to The Private Room, the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), the SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join an official transit tour into the city, which typically requires a minimum of around 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. This offers a relaxed way to see key sights before returning to the airport for your onward journey.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable. You can explore themed gardens, rest areas, play zones, and quiet corners designed for napping, or simply walk through the terminals to enjoy art installations and indoor greenery. Some terminals also have movie screenings and relaxation spaces.

If you prefer to rest, consider booking time at an airport hotel or using dedicated snooze areas between flights. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.
