A selection of hot and cold drinks is served throughout the flight, including juices, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board, so you can enjoy a taste of Singapore at cruising altitude.

For flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Shenzhen, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 35kg, and Business Class passengers may bring 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring one piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring two pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members. The service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both the Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore and Singapore to Shenzhen sectors, Economy Class seats offer a 32-inch pitch and up to 19-inch seat width. Premium Economy Class, available on selected Airbus A350-900 flights between Ho Chi Minh City and Singapore, offers a 38-inch pitch and up to 20-inch seat width.

Business Class on all sectors provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access on wide-body aircraft and spacious seating with generous recline on the Boeing 737-8 MAX, allowing you to rest more comfortably throughout your journey.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore Changi Airport, eligible passengers may be able to access the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Ho Chi Minh City but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

With a layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can enjoy one of the most comfortable transit experiences in the world. For longer connections, you may be able to join an official city tour if your layover meets the minimum required hours, giving you a brief introduction to Singapore between flights.

For shorter layovers, staying airside offers plenty to enjoy, from indoor gardens and art installations to rest zones, play areas, and quiet corners for work or relaxation. Some terminals also have pay-per-use lounges and transit hotels if you prefer extra privacy.

Ho Chi Minh City follows Indochina Time (UTC+7) and does not observe daylight saving time. Shenzhen follows China Standard Time (UTC+8), also without daylight saving time. Shenzhen is therefore 1 hour ahead of Ho Chi Minh City throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Ho Chi Minh City–Singapore and Singapore–Shenzhen) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Shenzhen is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
