For flights between Kochi and Xiamen, the weight concept applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class guests may bring 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Business Class guests may bring 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Kochi to Xiamen once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Kochi but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

If your layover at Singapore Changi Airport is long enough, you can consider joining the official city tour programme, which typically requires a minimum transit time of around 5.5 to 6 hours. This lets you see highlights of Singapore before returning comfortably for your onward flight.

For shorter layovers, staying airside is very comfortable, with themed gardens, quiet rest zones, and a wide choice of dining. Depending on the terminal, you may also find attractions such as indoor slides, play areas, or viewing galleries.

If you prefer to rest, airport hotels and nap facilities allow you to freshen up before continuing to Xiamen. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Kochi follows India Standard Time (UTC+5:30) year-round and does not observe daylight saving time. Xiamen follows China Standard Time (UTC+8:00), also without daylight saving. Xiamen is therefore 2 hours 30 minutes ahead of Kochi throughout the year.
