For flights between Los Angeles and Phuket, the piece concept applies for checked baggage. In Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Premium Economy Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 23kg. In Business Class, you may check in 2 pieces, each up to 32kg. Each individual checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final baggage allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members, and the service is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On both sectors of the journey, Economy Class typically offers a 32-inch seat pitch with up to 19-inch seat width. On the Los Angeles to Singapore sector and the Singapore to Phuket sector where available, Premium Economy Class offers around 38-inch pitch and up to 20-inch seat width, while Business Class provides a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Los Angeles but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers may be invited to use the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore.

If you have a longer layover at Singapore Changi Airport, you can join the official free city tour, which generally requires at least a 5.5-hour connection and sufficient time for border formalities. For shorter layovers, the airport itself offers themed gardens, rest areas, and family-friendly attractions to keep you comfortable.

There are also transit hotels, nap zones, and shower facilities available in the terminals, so you can rest or freshen up between flights.
