For flights between Surabaya and Amsterdam, the weight concept applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Premium Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 35kg, and in Business Class it is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces of cabin baggage, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members have additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights on this route once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can choose from paid plans.

Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Surabaya but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers may be invited to use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge during their layover.

If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you may be able to join an official transit tour of Singapore, allowing you to see highlights of the city before returning for your onward flight.
