For flights between Amsterdam and Shenzhen, our baggage policy follows the weight concept. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg for Lite and Value fares, 30kg for Standard and Flexi fares), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your exact allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Amsterdam to Shenzhen once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. KrisFlyer members enjoy free and unlimited Wi-Fi, and Economy Class and Premium Economy Class members should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can choose from paid plans. The connection is suitable for messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

At Singapore (SIN), eligible customers may use lounges such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), and KrisFlyer Gold Lounge.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Amsterdam but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent on a free official transit tour of the city, available to eligible passengers with sufficient connection time, usually at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights. This offers a glimpse of Singapore's skyline, waterfront, and key districts between your flights.

This means Shenzhen is 7 hours ahead of Amsterdam in winter, and 6 hours ahead during Amsterdam's summer time.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:
