Beverage Service
Throughout your journey, you can enjoy a range of hot and cold drinks, including juices, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. A curated selection of alcoholic beverages is also available, and our signature Singapore Sling is served on board.

For flights between Manila and Phuket, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, the checked baggage allowance is 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. In Business Class, the checked baggage allowance is 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class passengers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while Business Class passengers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. The final confirmed allowance for your trip will be shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional baggage allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on most Singapore Airlines flights from Manila to Phuket once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Business Class passengers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Paid plans are available for non-members, and the service is ideal for messaging, email, and basic browsing. It does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Manila–Singapore and Singapore–Phuket sectors, Economy Class seats offer a pitch of around 32 inches, with up to 19 inches of seat width for comfortable personal space. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Manila but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible passengers may use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport offers extensive amenities that make layovers comfortable and enjoyable. For longer connections of at least 5.5 to 6 hours, you can consider the official free transit tour, which lets you experience highlights of Singapore before returning to the airport in time for your onward flight.

If you prefer to stay airside, you will find themed gardens, rest areas, children’s play zones, and walking paths to stretch your legs between flights. Selected terminals feature attractions such as indoor greenery, art installations, and viewing decks where you can watch aircraft movements.

There are also shower facilities, nap zones, and airport hotels if you need a deeper rest, along with a wide choice of shops and dining outlets. Your time at Singapore Changi Airport is more than just a wait — it is an integral part of your journey.

Manila follows Philippine Time, which is UTC+8 and does not observe daylight saving time. Phuket follows Indochina Time, which is UTC+7 and also does not observe daylight saving time. This means Phuket is 1 hour behind Manila throughout the year.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Manila–Singapore and Singapore–Phuket) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Phuket is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
