Beverage Service
A selection of hot and cold drinks is available throughout your journey, including juices, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. Our signature Singapore Sling is also available on board for you to enjoy during the flight.

For Barcelona–Busan flights, the weight concept applies. Checked baggage allowances are: Economy Class (25kg on Lite/Value fares, 30kg on Standard/Flexi), Premium Economy Class (35kg), and Business Class (40kg). Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. Cabin baggage allowances are: Economy Class and Premium Economy Class (1 piece up to 7kg), and Business Class (2 pieces, each up to 7kg). Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members, including those travelling in Economy Class and Premium Economy Class, as long as the membership number is added to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Non-members can purchase access plans. The service supports messaging, email, and basic browsing, but it does not support video streaming, video calls, or large file transfers.

On the Barcelona–Singapore Airbus A350-900 sector, Economy Class offers a seat pitch of 32 inches and up to 19 inches in seat width, Premium Economy Class provides a 38-inch pitch and up to 20-inch seat width, and Business Class features a fully flat bed with direct aisle access. On the Singapore–Busan Boeing 737-8 MAX sector, Economy Class offers a comfortable seat pitch similar to our medium-haul standards, while Business Class provides a reclining seat with generous legroom for the regional flight.

Yes, Singapore Airlines provides lounge access to eligible passengers with a layover in Singapore. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Lounge Access Eligibility
Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Barcelona but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. Eligible passengers can use facilities such as the SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or KrisFlyer Gold Lounge at Singapore Changi Airport.

At Singapore Changi Airport, longer layovers can be spent joining the official transit tours into the city, available if you have sufficient connection time, typically from around 5.5 to 6 hours or more between flights. These tours let you see key highlights while your onward boarding pass and baggage remain handled by the airport.

For shorter layovers, staying airside gives you access to themed gardens, relaxation zones, and quiet spaces to rest between flights. Depending on your terminal, you can also enjoy attractions such as viewing decks and curated art installations.

Barcelona follows Central European Time (UTC+1) in winter and Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) from late March to late October. Busan follows Korea Standard Time (UTC+9) all year and does not observe daylight saving time. This means Busan is 8 hours ahead of Barcelona in winter and 7 hours ahead in summer.

Yes, your baggage will typically be checked through to Busan when flying from Barcelona via Singapore on a single booking with Singapore Airlines.

Through-Check Conditions
For your bags to be sent directly to your final destination, the following general conditions must be met:

Single Itinerary: Both flight segments (Barcelona–Singapore and Singapore–Busan) must be under the same booking reference or PNR.

Layover Duration: Your connection in Singapore must be less than 24 hours. If your layover exceeds 24 hours, it is considered a stopover, and you will typically be required to collect your luggage and re-check it for your onward flight.

Partner Airlines: If your onward flight from Singapore to Busan is operated by a partner airline, Singapore Airlines has through-check agreements that usually allow your bags to be tagged to your final destination.
