For flights between Christchurch and Colombo, our weight-concept baggage policy applies. For checked baggage, Economy Class passengers have an allowance of 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class passengers have 35kg, and Business Class passengers have 40kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg.

For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers may bring 1 piece up to 7kg. Business Class customers may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Christchurch to Colombo once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers should add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Your eligibility is based on your class of travel or your KrisFlyer and Star Alliance status, and it is determined by your flight leaving Singapore. Other options, like purchasing a day pass at a pay-per-use lounge, are also available.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for relaxing and exploring during your layover. If you have at least 5.5 to 6 hours between flights, you can consider a free transit city tour to see highlights of Singapore. For shorter layovers, enjoy the airport's indoor gardens, rest zones, play areas, and wide range of dining and shopping.
