For flights between Dubai and Surabaya, the weight-concept baggage policy applies. In Economy Class, checked baggage allowances are 25kg on Lite and Value fares, and 30kg on Standard and Flexi fares. Premium Economy Class offers 35kg of checked baggage, Business Class offers 40kg, and First Class offers 50kg. Each checked bag must not exceed 32kg. For cabin baggage, Economy Class and Premium Economy Class may bring 1 piece up to 7kg, while First Class and Business Class may bring 2 pieces, each up to 7kg. Your final allowance is shown on your e-ticket, and KrisFlyer Elite Gold and PPS Club members enjoy additional allowances.

Wi-Fi is available on Singapore Airlines flights from Dubai to Surabaya once the aircraft is above 10,000 feet. It is free and unlimited for KrisFlyer members; Economy Class and Premium Economy Class customers must add their membership number to the booking at least 1.5 hours before departure. Cabin Class: Complimentary for Suites, First, and Business Class passengers. Premium Economy and Economy travellers do not have access unless they hold eligible status.

Frequent Flyer Status: PPS Club and KrisFlyer Elite Gold (or Star Alliance Gold) members have access regardless of cabin class.

The 'Next Segment' Rule: Eligibility is based on the flight immediately departing that airport. For example, if you fly Economy from Dubai but have a Business Class onward flight from Singapore, you get lounge access in Singapore only. In Singapore (SIN), eligible customers can access The Private Room, SilverKris Lounge (First Class), SilverKris Lounge (Business Class), or the KrisFlyer Gold Lounge, depending on their cabin and status.

Singapore Changi Airport is designed for comfortable and engaging layovers, with attractions such as indoor gardens, art installations, and rest zones where you can unwind. With a longer connection of at least about 5.5 hours, you can also consider joining one of the airport’s official free city tours, subject to timing and eligibility. For shorter stays, you might prefer to explore the terminals, enjoy the many dining choices, visit a pay-per-use lounge, or book a room at an airport hotel for rest and a shower. This means Surabaya is 3 hours ahead of Dubai throughout the year; for example, when it is 12.00pm in Dubai, it is 15.00 in Surabaya.
